This is a bit late, sorry! Job done in early October 2018. I changed my ISP and telephone line to BT and in summary this meant I needed two new data cables from the BT Hub in my front downstairs room through the external wall and one routed to the upstairs front of my house and the other right round the house to a rear room. I was given a number for Neville who lives very close to me and luckily, he was available the very next day.
Neville arrived early and within minutes had fed through a cable through the tiny gap between my house and my neighbours. He suggested widening an existing external hole from the master socket rather than drill a new one – which would have been a far easier option for some engineers. All his cabling was neat and tidy and he even waited for me with my vacuum cleaner in hand, whenever he did any drilling so that I wouldn’t have dust everywhere. He tidied up some of the existing and messy cabling, including bits that I wouldn’t have expected him to do.
I NEVER leave 5 stars for reviews, but this was one occasion where it is merited. Neville is hardworking, works quickly and offers great advice. On top of that he is such a lovely man. I shall definitely be using him for any future telephone/ISP issues I may have. [PS previous Virgin installer did none of this and caused part of the cabling mess that Neville sorted!]
Hi Geoff – I just wanted to let you know Neville visited on Friday. He provided a great service and phoned the day before to check access and arrived promptly. Your engineer was so knowledgeable about the wiring etc. He was dedicated to providing an excellent service.

Well, what can I say. Having spent two days on the phone to Talk Talk, then hours chasing BT I Google Telephone Engineers and Geoff’s page came up. I called him at 2 pm, he was just finishing a job, attended my home within 20 minutes and had the job finished in an hour! Now that is service!
Geoff was polite, friendly and professional. He went out of his way to keep his works clean and thought about what was best for us and what we might need in the future. He also did a few other bits for us and went out of his way to do a Broadband Speed Check. A really genuine, pleasant man who clearly puts his customers first! I would highly recommend Geoff and will definitely use his services again.

I came across Geoff’s website whilst recovering from the shock of being told BT would charge me £350 for a call out to investigate my non-functioning landline. Exhausted from numerous conversations with a distant call centre who knew nothing about the workings of a telephone, and were impossible to comprehend anyway and could therefore offer any helpful advice, I rang Geoff’s number.
I got an answer straight away and not only was he able to talk me through my problem but also to talk me through the necessary procedure to cure it. Bingo – I had a working phone again ! Geoff followed up our conversation with a courtesy call to me that evening to check that everything was well……
I cannot recommend his service more highly or thank him enough.

Cardiff-based Dickon got straight in touch with me after my enquiry via your website and – by sheer luck – was in the area and able to visit the same afternoon. 45 minutes and a cuppa later, we were not only connected again but had had the telephone socket moved to where we needed it. Old cabling from the previous owners had been taken down or tidied up – at a charge less than half of what Openreach would have been I had difficulty persuading my service provider that an engineer visit is needed! Plus, he is a thoroughly nice guy. A huge thank you to you both – a much-needed service, just one that most of us don’t know much about until problems arise

Matt came quickly and promptly and sorted out our very slow internet (0.18mbps) very comprehensively. He was very thorough and helpful. He installed a new extension point and fixed internal wiring. We how have Internet speed of about 6.0. All this when we couldn’t get past BT call centre. They weren’t interested or helpful even though we rent the line from them.
I have no hesitation recommending your website and your engineer Matt. I hope the reviews generate a bit more work for you all.

Many thanks for giving us the contact details of Russell, the local engineer. He managed to get to us on the Sunday and sort out the old wiring and its replacement. He is a really nice chap, he completed the job and all is working well. The price was really good and I would recommend him to others.

I engaged with a local engineer (Richard) via a Google search taking me to ex bt engineers. Richard was prompt, informative and very clear about the issue & price to repair. He came, repaired & was gone in no time. I was left feeling very pleased with the experience from initial contact to saying goodbye. I most definitely recommend this service.

Just wanted to leave some feedback on your amazing service. I sent an email this morning at 10am(a bank holiday) and by 12 your engineer Neville had called back, visited and fixed the cut wires in our flat! And at a cheaper price then the two weeks we would have waited as non BT customers for their engineer to fix the problem! No waiting in all day, no fuss, job done perfectly and politely. I would recommend this service to anyone.
Now the kids won’t pester me non stop this half term!

Thanks very much for putting me in touch with Ross, who sorted out my Mum’s weird phone wiring. Her internet connection is now working at full speed which she’s very pleased about! Ross arrived promptly, discussed what he was going to do and got it all done in the predicted time. BT Openreach themselves had failed twice to understand the problems with the wiring but Ross tracked everything down and has also removed the need for unreliable micro filters hanging out of all our extension sockets. Ross’ time was money well spent!

I called Geoff as I had a problem connecting my internet to TalkTalk. I had already spent over three hours trying to resolve the problem, talking to International Call Centres. It was refreshing to speak to someone who was not reading from a script. He gave me his time on the phone and talked through the problems and likely causes.
Geoff identified that it was something he could not help with, so unfortunately I had to endure a further two hours talking to the call centres. Finally they agreed to escalate the problem to BT and arrange a visit from a BT engineer.
I will certainly keep the number of this company and will have no hesitation using their services in the future.

Geoff provided a North London engineer, Neville, who moved, removed and added new line and tidied up a house of random cables. Now have sky, phone and wireless working seamlessly. Excellent and tidy work at a great price. Trying to get a BT engineer is like getting blood out of a stone, this service was prompt and cant praise highly enough. Highly recommend.
